I am currently a Research Assistant at NMU under the Northern Forest Wildlife Research Fellowship in partnership with MDNR, studying gray and red fox distribution/occupancy. In my undergraduate career, I worked as a student assistant for the Bear, Furbearer, and Small Game Specialist, and UP Wildlife Research Specialist for the MDNR. I helped trap and collar black bears and gray wolves for various research projects. I am an adrenaline junkie and compete and coach jiu jitsu in my spare time, and spend a lot of time in the woods hunting and trapping as well.
